18th August 2014 in the pouring rain Ian McDonald begins the delicate work of bringing the 110 year old lead lettering on the main stone back to life.

In this day and age this expertise is rare indeed and is a rapidly disappearing art, today the job would be designed by computer and then 
sandblasted on to the brickwork.
