The most expensive phase of the project, the final cleaning phase. This image shows the result of a test of the final cleaning process. After this test a serious financial decision had to be made by the Ballater Local History Group, stop, or go ahead despite financial restraints.
After more discussion and some further generous financial donations from locals the BLHG made the decision to go ahead with the final cleaning phase
